Annecy day 5:

Ahhh, this morning I had a lovely (much needed) lay in. Instead of warm hostel cereal, this morning we treated ourselves to some authentic croissants and a coffee from the ever-changing-price-and-strength-of-coffee shop. Today it was 2€ and came with no little biscuit.

The first screening we had lined up was Shorts in Competition 5. It was another very good programme but my favourite was 'a different perspective'. It's a nice funny little short and was perfectly placed to break up some of the heavier shorts in the programme.

Later in the evening we went to the Irish meet-up for a few hours before going over to Graduate Shorts 4. This was a great programme too, the ones that stick in my mind are 'Space Stallions' which takes you straight back to being a little kid watching cartoons in the 80's. The other one was a lovely stop-motion film called 'Étude'.

Today doesn't seem to feel as hectic as the others which is nice. I'm still tired though..

  1. Hi Daniella, glad to hear you are enjoying yourself and seeing some great films. Wish I could be there too, it's been a really bad week. Today (june 9th) is my birthday, I hope it turns out to be decent. Don't tire yourself out but have a fun time there. Hope to hear from you soon. Take care,Dan
